school is excellent. my courses are, for the most part, pretty interesting.
this weekend is homecoming. which, apparently, means almost every student on campus gets incredibly drunk for 2 days straight. they are even opening meal hall at 7 so that people can have food in their stomaches, when they start drinking at 8. in the morning. yeah.

i was shocked to find out how fast midterms are approaching. i don't feel like i have learned enough yet to be tested on. oh well.

thanksgiving is next weekend. i am excited. i love stuffing.

Made it to St.FX, safe and sound. Classes are going well, and the girls on my all girls floor are not as annoying as I was expecting. My residence is really old and apparently ( haunted ). Which I think is kind of cool...

Actually, my new friend Emma has a labtop that keeps turning on at night. So we were joking yesterday that one day she is going to try and log into facebook, but instead of her e-mail address in the little box, it will say bluenun@hotmail.com

My sister is pregnant and her due date was yesterday, so it could be any day now! I can't wait. I love babies.

And... metric is playing on Saturday. SWEET!

coupon book update: i visited ripley's believe it or not, in cavendish, on monday. i will also be using my two free admissions to sandspit and the water park this weekend with kenneth!

i got this sweet tourist coupon booklet two days ago. i decided to try and use every coupon before they expire on july 31...

yesterday i visited the haunted mansion in kensington. it was actually pretty scary at first. there was this one part where the floor actually shakes. i nearly peed my pants. and there was this room with a whole bunch of portraits in frames, but they when you looked at them closely, they were holograms. it was spooky and neat. the rest of the haunted mansion is kind of lame. the first part is definatly scary. and also, they have nice gardens.

i was going to go to ripley's believe it or not, in cavendish, but i was late getting out of work.

work is lame.

i have not been able to stop scrapbooking for the past week. it has taken over my life. i am going to start scrapbooking as soon as i finish typing this probably.

I have returned from my camping excursion with many bug bites and bruises to show for it. The bug bites are probably my own fault, apparently I suck at applying bug spray. The bruises are only because the ground is so bumpy and it is impossible to fit an air mattress and an air pump onto a motorcycle, along with all the other camping needs.

We took lots of pictures, but ( this one ) was my favorite of the bunch.

i like eating those apricot slices. my mom bought a big bag of them today. i like eating them because they feel like eating people. is that weird?

i'm in halifax
and i love it.

my sister called me yesterday at work. and i thought it was weird because she would never call me at work.


she called to tell me she is pregnant.
and i was the first one to know.
i felt special.
and excited.

i can't wait to be an aunt.
man, i love babies.


this also means i might just have to go to school in bc.
just because i want to be the baby-sitter.

i was in victoria for 3 days. the bus ride was so long and my brother decided to fall asleep on my shoulder which made it even more uncomfortable. although, i amused myself by trying to stick things in his nose without him noticing.
i went to china town! the oldest china town in canada to be exact.

also, my life plan for the next year has changed again.

i am going back to charlottetown in a week. working until the end of october, then moving to halifax. i don't have a place there yet, but my brother is going to go back and look around for me. so if anyone is looking for a roommate in halifax or knows someone who is, let me know.
